Lineage and history
Gary Payton is a cross of The Y and Snowman. Kenny Dumetz of Powerzzzup Genetics bred it in partnership with Berner’s Cookies brand. The keeper was the 20th phenotype, so they named it for NBA Hall of Famer Gary Payton, who wore No. 20, and Payton licensed his name for it.
It took 2nd place at the 2022 Emerald Cup, according to Leafly.
