What wholesale cannabis costs in Oklahoma in 2026

Oklahoma has some of the cheapest wholesale cannabis in the country. Here is what the published numbers show for 2026, where each one comes from, and how to compare a grower’s quote on a per-gram basis.

The short answer

Figures published in 2026 put Oklahoma wholesale flower at roughly $800 to $1,100 a pound, down from about $3,000 when the market opened. Prices vary by grower, grow type and volume, and no public index tracks Oklahoma wholesale prices by grow type, so treat every number below as a reference point rather than a market rate.

Why prices fell

Supply outgrew demand. Oklahoma’s grower licenses peaked at 9,402; OMMA counted 1,703 on October 1, 2026, down 82% from the peak and 32% from a year earlier. A 2023 study commissioned by OMMA estimated supply exceeded patient demand by roughly 64 to 1.

The rest of the market shrank too. OMMA counted 1,259 dispensaries and 557 processors on October 1, 2026, and retail sales fell from $684.6 million in 2024 to $609.4 million in 2025, according to OMMA’s sales dashboard.

What shoppers pay at the counter

OMMA’s dashboard data works out to about $2.42 per gram of flower at retail in September 2026: $19.45 million in flower sales over 17,725 pounds. DankReports put August 2026 at $2.44 per gram from the same source. That is an average across all flower sold, from budget ounces to top-shelf eighths.

Volume is sliding as well: dispensaries sold 20,120 pounds of flower in April 2026 and 17,725 pounds in September.

How to compare a quote per gram

Growers quote by the pound, by the pack or by the case. Convert everything to dollars per gram of flower before you compare. One pound is 453.6 grams.

Price per poundPer gramFlower in an eighth (3.5g)Flower in an ounce (28g)
$800$1.76$6.17$49.38
$1,000$2.20$7.72$61.73
$1,100$2.43$8.49$67.90
$1,500$3.31$11.57$92.59
Flower cost only. A pre-packed unit also carries the bag, label, labor and testing.

Since June 1, 2025, flower sold to dispensaries must arrive pre-packaged, so a per-pack quote includes packaging and labor the grower now absorbs. Compare pack quotes against each other on price per gram of the finished pack, then against what that format sells for on your shelf.

What moves a quote up or down

  • Grow type: indoor, greenhouse or outdoor
  • Test results: potency and terpene numbers on the batch COA
  • Format: bulk to processors, or pre-packed eighths through ounces for dispensaries
  • Volume and how steady your orders are
  • Payment terms and delivery distance
